In Loving Memory of Aaron Winfield Johnson

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Aaron Winfield Johnson, who died unexpectedly on May 11, 2025—just one day after celebrating his 48th birthday. We honor his memory by reflecting on the love and laughter he shared as a beloved son, brother, father, nephew, and great friend to many. Aaron was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and graduated from South High School in 1995. He earned an Associate of Culinary Arts degree from St. Paul Technical College and studied Computer Networking Systems at NEI College of Technology. Aaron worked for many years in auto dealership management, sales, and finance throughout the Twin Cities. His natural ability to connect with people made him a valued colleague and a trusted advisor to customers and co-workers alike. Above all, Aaron was deeply devoted to his family. He found immense meaning and joy in being a father. Aaron is survived by mother and father, Sue and Dave Johnson; son Jaylen Johnson and his wife Cass; sister Meridian (Stephanie) Johnson; nieces Ava and Kiowa Carlson; many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to support Aaron’s son through a GoFundMe campaign. A Celebration of Life will be held in June for family and friends.
