Alejandro "Alex" Castro, 69, of Harlingen, passed away at his home, surrounded by his family, on June 21, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Alejandro enjoyed a range of passions that reflected his adventurous spirit: fishing, hunting, camping, and BBQing were just a few of the activities that filled his life with joy and excitement. In many ways, Alejandro was the life of the party, effortlessly bringing people together. He cherished spending time with his family and friends, creating memories that will resonate in the hearts of many for years to come.

He is serviced by his 5 children and many grandchildren.

A memorial in his honor is to be announced for this Friday June 27, 2025
