Cari went to be with Jesus on June 13, 2025.

Preceded in death by her parents, Martin (born 1920) and Carmel Richie (born 1927), brothers, Jim Richie (born 1952), David Richie (born 1957), daughter, Heather Brodie (born 1973), grand-daughter, Jessica DeGarcia (born 1993).

Survived by daughters, Jennifer Garcia (Juan), Selena Curtis (Robert Sherman), grandchildren, Tomas Garcia, Juan (Buddy) Garcia, Andres Garcia, Vanessa Garcia, James Curtis, Alanah Sherman, Nadia Sherman, Mason Sherman, Robert (Bobby) Sherman, Luella (Lulu) Sherman, great-grandchildren, Gianni, Lorenzo, Xavier II, siblings, Josie Richie O'Connor (Mike), Dan Richie (Vicky), and many nieces, nephews, friends, and long time significant other, Michael Kelly.

Celebration of Life will be Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Household of Faith Church, 1090 Chicago Avenue, St. Paul Park, MN 55071. Visitation at 10 a.m., service at 11 a.m. followed by a luncheon in the church social hall.
