Loving Wife, Mother, and Grandma

On June 10, 2025 at 7:14 am Nelda Joyce Dickens Schmidt passed on to our Lord while at home.

Nelda who was predeceased by her parents James Oswald Dickens and Rose Lee Euler Dickens, was born in Wathena, Kansas on August 11, 1951.

Nelda was a devoted Teacher at Masonic Home and School until its closing in 2005.

She loved reading and watching good mysteries in her retirement, as well as being a Grandma.

Nelda is loved by and has left behind her loving Husband Bob, her two daughters

Jess (and her husband William "BJ" Chase) and Rachel, her grandson Rigby, her three sisters: Diana, Kathryn, and Karen, and her brother James along with their spouses, numerous nieces and nephews and other loved ones.

To honor her life and her Homecoming to the Lord a memorial will be held 1:30 pm on July 12, 2025 at : 7900 FM 917 Alvarado, Tx Led by Eldridge Cullum.
