Robert "Bob" Boom

Robert "Bob" Boom, 91, of Burnsville, MN, died peacefully on June 17th, 2025 at Methodist Hospital.

Cremation has taken place with a private family service.

Bob was husband to Virginia, wife of 66 years; father to Steve (Amy) Boom and Susan (Kevin) Burns; grandfather to Shauna Burns and Dylan Burns; sibling to Dennis Boom, Roger (Deb) Boom, Suzie (Keith) Koslofsky, and Nancy Boom; uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Milton & Olga Boom; brother, sisters, and in-laws Murl (Dory) Boom, Jean (Maurice) Jorgenson, Edith (George) King, Lorraine (Bill) Saunders), Christina Boom, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Bob grew up in Valley City, ND, served 4 years in the Navy, afterward he became a supervisor for Western Electric.

Bob enjoyed snowmobiling, boating, fishing, doing jigsaw puzzles, and years of RV camping, traveling across the United States.
