Robert "Bob" Charles Hanson 1932 – 2025

Robert "Bob" Charles Hanson, 92, of Arden Hills, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2025.

Bob was born in Pelican Rapids, Minnesota, to Roy and Clara Hanson. He grew up the youngest of six and adored his siblings, Lillian, Edna, Ivan, Louise, and Nell. In the 1950s, Bob proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.

In 1960, Bob married the love of his life, Jane. Together they raised three sons—Dave, Rob, and Reid—and built a life filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories. He was a devoted husband, father, and a proud grandfather to four grandchildren: Darby, Emilie, Payton, and Oliver.

Bob will be remembered for his quiet strength, steadfast kindness, and deep dedication to his family.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Nativity Lutheran Church in St. Anthony, Minnesota. Prior to the service there will be a visitation.

His final resting place will be Fort Snelling National Cemetery, with interment on July 28, 2025.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
