Susan M. Herink

Susie was born in Schuyler, NE, the fourth of ten children on November 10, 1954. She was called home on May 5, 2025. There to greet her are her parents, John & Dorothy Herink, brother, Jeff, nephew, Grant, grandparents, and numerous aunts and uncles.

Susie loved her family the most, following closely behind family was her love of dominos, playing bingo, McDonald's hamburgers (no pickle), pop (no ice), collecting containers to organize her belongings in, pizza, and a good ole Pabst Blue Ribbon beer.

Susie leaves her siblings, John (Elaine) Herink, Ken (Pam) Herink, JoAn Benimon, Linda (Mark) Fallin, Bonnie (Jeff) Reed, Connie Shaffer, Margie (Mike) Madsen, and Calvin Herink; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Thank you to Susie's compassionate, loving, competent extended family of Comfort of Hudson Home (8+ years) and the former Lutheran Home River Falls (21 years) staff. Our heartfelt appreciation to your dedicated service for the daily needs of our beloved Susie. Moments Hospice joined Susie's extended family in December 2022. The family acknowledges all that was done to extend our Susie's life in a meaningful, pain-controlled way.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, May 19, 2025 at Immaculate Conception Church, 151 Washington Ave, New Richmond, WI 54017. Visitation at 12PM, Service at 1PM, with a lunch to follow.
